FORCE Technology recently hosted a delegation from China Power Investment Corporation (CPI), which is a major Chinese power plant owner and operator.
The focus of the delegation was the operation and maintenance of power plants in Western Europe. In Denmark they visited the Vattenfall Amager plant and FORCE Technology’s headquarters in Brøndby.

SCR flow modeling
There was a great Chinese interest in the power engineering services offered by FORCE Technology such as SCR flow modeling, non destructive testing, flue gas emission etc. Also FORCE Technology’s extensive series of inspection rigs used for non-destructive testing of e.g. steam pipes and concrete structures at power plants evoked attention.
FORCE Technology is a market leader in China of flow models of SCR DeNOx units for coal fired power plants. The flow model is an essential part of designing an SCR unit and the Chinese engineering companies are not able to perform this task themselves.
CPI
CPI is a huge electricity supplier which employs 83,000 people and has an astonishing 45,000 MW capacity divided on thermal, hydro, nuclear and wind units.
